The first in the Spick-N-Span series; Seeing use put to our modern day materials-a-plenty and ensuring a proper job, by real people in the Bristol workshop, now that’s a can-do attitude.

Using 3 tons of whoomph, 'The Denbeigh' (a cast iron fly press with some history under its belt) has earned it's place again with a Heath Robinson style barely-thought-through-properly-let-alone-designed press tool, bespoke for the job. Alongside this piece on ingenuity, there’s another little system to turn your bottoms-up into our bottoms-off (…of beer cans) so they can be pressed again to make those lovely shiny hubs. mmm…

The custom chassis uses aluminum girders and flat bar, riveted together for low weight and top speeds. Just you try and break it (then buy another).

Designs vary with types of can accumulated.
